Gust Bolkan

Mr. and Mrs. Gust Bolkan

Gust Bolkan came to the Roseglen area from Cooperstown, North Dakota, where he had been farming. In 1912, he filed for a homestead in what would later become Amundsville Township.

In 1917, he rented his land to Rudolph Reinertson for three years, and moved back to Cooperstown. In 1920, Christian Erdahl purchased the land. Gust Bolkan married Ethel Parfit, and they moved to Washington State.
