Barney Bradley

Mr. and Mrs. Barney Bradley

Barney Bradley was born in Keokuk County, Iowa, in 1887. Ethel Parker was born in Headrick, Iowa, in 1888. They both moved with their parents from Iowa to North Dakota, where they homesteaded in the Glenburn area.

Barney and Ethel were married on November 7, 1906 in Minot, North Dakota. Mr. Bradley homesteaded about six miles southwest of Roseglen, in Deepwater Township, McLean County. In September of 1917, he brought his wife and family to the homestead.

They lived in the Roseglen area until the fall of 1942, when they moved to Minot. Mr. Bradley was employed by Montgomery Ward in Minot for about fifteen years. He passed away in 1959. At the time that the Golden Jubilee book was published, min 1967, Mrs. Bradley was living at her home in Minot.

The Bradley’s children were Frank, Harry, Vera, and Margaret.
