William Hudson

Mr. William Hudson

The last person buried in the cemetery was William Hudson, who was interned there in 1932.

William Hudson came to Hiddenwood Township from Wisconsin, as one of the early settlers in the area. He was born in 1863, and was a bachelor.

He farmed his homestead until February 11, 1932, when he was found in his barn, unconscious, by a neighbor, Howard Iverson. He died of a paralytic stroke the following day, and was buried in the Hiddenwood Cemetery, the first burial there in twelve years.
