Ole Klippen

Mr. and Mrs. Ole Klippen

Ole Klippen, a native of Norway, filed on a homestead in Romsaas Township, McLean County, North Dakota. He married a Norwegian too, and they farmed there until Ole’s death in an automobile accident.

Mrs. Klippen then moved to Garrison. In 1967, when the Golden Jubilee book was published, Mrs. Klippen was a resident of McLean Manor.

The Klippens had two children. Their daughter, Wencke, married Lieutenant Colonel John Schweizer, and their son, Elling, who was three months old at the time of his father’s death, was working for the city of Bismarck in 1967.
