Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Anderson

Andrew Anderson came to the United States in March of 1904 from Ostfold, Norway. He worked at Hampden, North Dakota that summer, then moved to the Roseglen community in the fall, where he filed on a homestead in December. He lived there until 1915.

In 1919, Andrew married Bertha Speicher, and the couple resided in Ryder. Andrew Anderson was a carpenter and a farmer during his career. He lived on year in Minnesota, and returned to Norway twice for visits.

The children  of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Anderson were Winston, Elinor, Vivian, Priscilla, Deloris, Howard, and Alton.
