Frank Tschida

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tschida

Frank and his wife, Sadie, were newlyweds when they came from St. Paul to a small shack southwest of the Roseglen Post Office. He was a bookbinder by trade so, after living in their little house until 1924, he moved back to St. Paul.

Later, he moved to Washington, D.C., where he made a special binding for some of President Roosevelt’s books at the personal request of the president. He later moved to Minneapolis, where he remained until his death in 1965.
