Mr. and Mrs. William Ready

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ready and their sons, Jay, Willis, and Verden, moved to Roseglen from Makoti, North Dakota in 1924. Bill operated the pool hall and barbershop in Roseglen.

Before their marriage, Mrs. Ready was Jensine Roisum, whose parents lived on a farm east of Makoti. She had been employed by Dokken Brothers Store, and later by Smith and Roubau, before her marriage.

The Readys lived in Roseglen until 1932, when they moved to Alvarado, Minnesota, where they lived until 1942, then moved to Minneapolis, where Bill worked as a barber until he retired in 1964.
